Story Beats -Rough Concept Demo
There's been rumours of an ancient Doppelganger that has turned the music dungeon into its home, turning all the creatures inside it evil. Hearing the news, two adventurers, Krissy the forest elf and Damir the golemn have taken upon themselves to defeat the evil that lurks inside the dungeon behind a mysterious door. The Music Dungeon plays by its own rules, and you'll need to follow its ancient beat to be successful. Walk around until you randomly encounter enemies . And use your attacks to defeat them! Press space to successfully match the beat to attack.

Unfortunately we couldn't get most of our work to be in this game jam. Nevertheless we might be doing a small demo using our unused work. I'd really hate for most of the talent I saw here to go through the trashbin.
This is just a concept though! A full fledged demo with all of our works would mean much more than a sketch of a game ;)
Thank you for playing! enjoy a animatic or Krissy dancing :)

seems like the web version is...
I think the demo might have been stronger if you just went straight to the battle screen instead of waiting for random encounters to show up - the battle screen definitely feels a lot more polished. I love the battle music/effects, and the mechanics remind me a lot of the Mario RPGs, which is really cool.
Here are some suggestions for battles, if you keep working on the game:
Sorry if this comes off as nitpicky - I actually had a lot of fun with the demo, and I think even what's submitted here is impressive on its own.
